Like all white Burgundies, Chablis is made from 100% Chardonnay. The Premier Cru vineyards, of which there are only 40, they occupy less than one tenth of the total area. With its delicately fruity bouquet and lightly refreshing acidity the Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio has developed a reputation as Italy’s most successful white wine in the United States. The wine is pale straw in color with an appealing bitter-almond earthy nose, light and crispy.
